We have the facility, the staff, the servies and equipment to make each event a complete success. Our first-class food and beverage capabilities allow us to offer custom menus, from continental breakfast buffets to 5-course galas.
The Durham Convention Center recently received a comprehensive $6.9 million renovation at the beginning of January 2011. More than just a coat of paint, improvements to the facility included a new HVAC system, in-house sound and lighting package, wall vinyl, and floor coverings. In addition to these upgrades the Junior Ballroom underwent an extensive renovation, transforming the once traditional room into dramatic contemporary meeting space. This area of the Durham Convention Center, which previously could only be broken down into only four spaces, can now be divided into eight break-out rooms, allowing more flexibility for guests of the Durham Convention Center.

The facility offers on-site audio/visual services, sound services, staging, and an experienced event management and catering staff to ensure the success of your event. Our staff is experience and committed, and from your menu to technical needs, will work with you to see that your next meeting, wedding, or social event is one to remember.
