At this special Centennial version of our FREE annual health summit, our focus will extend beyond merely discussing the problems to actively understanding the intricate landscape of food security in Durham and Wake Counties. Through interactive breakout sessions, we aim to identify measurable metrics that can serve as the foundation for informed, evidence-based partnerships and/or initiatives that the community can trust. Together with this audience, we will forge sustainable and equitable strategies for our food systems, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry or lacks access to nutritious, affordable, and culturally appropriate food.
