DCC COVID-19 Statement
March 20th 2020

Following Governor Roy Cooper’s Executive Order prohibiting mass gatherings to limit the spread of the COVID-19, Durham Convention Center will not be hosting events until after April 22nd, 2020.

The majority of our administrative team members are now working remotely and are available during our regular business hours, 8:30-5:30, to continue to plan out future events. We promise to deliver the same professional planning experience that our clients have come to expect and are equipped with virtual tours of our venues.

March through May is typically the peak demand on the convention industry in Durham, typically resulting in economic impact throughout the Downtown core. We encourage the support of our local businesses as they are critical to our City’s workforce and are greatly impacted by the current environment.

During this time of the elimination of mass gatherings in North Carolina, our venue will be thoroughly cleaned. We look forward to welcoming our guests back to the Durham Convention Center.
